How much do Moonshiners make?

The amount of money a moonshiner can make depends on many factors. On average, a small-scale moonshiner may make somewhere in the range of $10,000 to $20,000 per year; however, someone running a larger operation can make up to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Some of the major factors that affect how much a moonshiner can make include the type of still used for distillation (larger stills typically produce more alcohol), the type of alcohol produced, local laws and regulations, and the demand for the product.

The sale of moonshine is illegal in most states and countries. It is possible to make a profit from moonshine sales, but it is difficult and often risky. There is also the possibility of penalties, fines, and potential jail time that come with the sale of illegal products.

Additionally, the sale of moonshine often involves dangerous activities such as driving intoxicated, creating explosions and fires, and the potential for personal injury and death.

Ultimately, moonshiners may be able to make a good amount of money—but it takes serious guts and dedication to engage in such a risky business.
