Do bags have to be clear for Fenway?

No, bags do not have to be clear for Fenway. Fenway Park currently allows guests to bring any permissible bag measuring 16″ x 16″ x 8″ or smaller in to the ballpark as long as it is not carrying a prohibited item or is not deemed to be a safety concern.

Larger bags and backpacks must be checked with Security personnel at Gate E and outside of Fenway Park located on Yawkey Way. All bags will be searched at security check points. The Red Sox reserve the right to modify the bag policy on an event-by-event basis, responds to public safety situations or to comply with directives from government agencies.

Any non-permitted bags need to be returned to your car or discarded before entering Fenway Park.

What can you not bring into Fenway Park?

The following items are strictly prohibited from being brought into Fenway Park: alcoholic beverages, cans, glass bottles, coolers, large purses, backpacks, wrapped packages, lasers, noisemakers, brooms, poles and/or sticks, flagpoles, selfie sticks, outside food, beverage, containers, and weapons/firearms of any kind.

Additionally, guests are not permitted to bring in items that would obstruct another guests view of the game, such as beach balls and balloons. We also ask that all guests keep the stadium clean by upholding our no smoking policy, as Fenway Park is a smoke-free environment.

The ballpark also reserves the right to inspect any bag brought into the premises, and any person found in possession of a prohibited item may be asked to remove it from the ballpark or dispose of it.

Can I bring a water bottle to Fenway?

Yes, you can bring a water bottle to Fenway as long as it is clear and does not exceed the maximum size of 17″ x 8.5″ x 4″. All items brought into Fenway Park are subject to examination and approval by Fenway Park security and staff.

You cannot bring in glass bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, thermos containers or any type of beverage other than water into the ballpark. Additionally, alcohol is not allowed in the seating areas, including the bleacher seats.

There are fountains throughout the ballpark where you can refill your water bottle.

Can I wear a fanny pack to Fenway?

Yes, you can wear a fanny pack to Fenway Park. The official guidelines from the Boston Red Sox state that “umbrellas, handbags, purses and diaper bags are permitted into Fenway Park, provided that their size does not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment of the game.

” So, as long as your fanny pack is not too large and it doesn’t block the view of other fans, then it will be allowed inside. However, there are some items that are prohibited in Fenway Park, so make sure to check the list of prohibited items before you arrive.

Additionally, keep in mind that there is a clear bag policy at Fenway. All bags must be clear and cannot exceed 16″x16″x8″. So, if your fanny pack is larger than these dimensions, you will have to leave it at home.

Does Fenway have a no alcohol section?

Yes, Fenway Park does have a no alcohol section. This section is usually located in Row 24 and higher in the Grandstand area. It is also located between Rows 1 and 18 in the Field Box area, Rows 1 and 22 in the Loge Box area, and Rows 1 and 28 in the Pavilion area.

This no-alcohol section was designed to provide a comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere for those who choose not to drink. Additionally, anyone who is under the legal drinking age is prohibited from consuming or possessing alcohol in any section of the stadium, whether or not it has a no alcohol section.
