At this time, there is no confirmed new villain for Spider-Man 4. Rumors have circulated that Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio could be making appearances, but these have yet to be confirmed. Spider-Man 4 was originally announced back in January of 2016 and is currently in the early phases of production.
At this time, it is unknown who will appear as the main villain. With previous films featuring villains such as the Green Goblin, Venom, and Doctor Octopus, fans can only speculate who will be the new bad guy for Spider-Man to face off against.
Will Ned be Venom?
No, Ned will not be Venom. Although Venom typically refers to the alien Symbiote and host duo, it is most often associated with its most well-known host, Eddie Brock. In the Marvel comic series, Ned Leeds is not the host of the Venom Symbiote.
Instead, he is a supporting character who develops romantic feelings towards Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s girlfriend. Throughout the series, Ned is generally a good-natured young man who is drawn into the Spiderman adventures, at times mistakenly identified as the Hobgoblin.
Ultimately, Ned dies in the battle with The Kingpin and is not the host for Venom.
Is Ned coming back to Spider-Man 4?
At this time, it is not known if Ned will be returning for Spider-Man 4. There has been no official announcement from Marvel or Sony as to who will be appearing in the upcoming fourth installment in the Spider-Man franchise.
If Ned does return, it could be possible that he would reprise his role from the previous films. However, the Spider-Man franchise is always adapting and evolving, and it may be that Ned is replaced with a completely new character for the fourth film.
It’s too early to tell at this point, but fans will just have to wait and see what happens when Spider-Man 4 is released in theaters.
How will Ned become Hobgoblin?
Ned will become Hobgoblin by utilizing the identity of Roderick Kingsley, the original Hobgoblin. Roderick’s brother, Daniel Kingsley, had assumed the mantle of Hobgoblin but died in a confrontation with Spider-Man.
Nonetheless, his costume and equipment were taken by Ned. Ned used the stealth capabilities of the Hobgoblin’s mask and glider to create a degree of separation between himself and his true identity, allowing him to become a mysterious criminal figure.
Perhaps Ned was inspired by the original Hobgoblin’s legacy and wanted to take up the mantle himself. Or maybe he just wanted to use the dangerous trappings of the Hobgoblin to gain an edge in his criminal endeavors.
Whatever the reason, Ned replaced his signature patterned sweater with the red-and-purple costume of the Hobgoblin to become the newest iteration of the feared supernatural criminal. With this new identity, he took up residence in the home of Roderick Kingsley and created aliases to protect his identity.
Eventually, he allied himself with the Goblin Underground group and gained access to their advanced technologies. He also used the goblin serum to enhance his physical and mental capabilities, making him even more formidable.
With the aid of his allies, Ned created a fearsome criminal empire that had the people of NYC living in fear of the Hobgoblin. In the end, Ned fulfilled his goal of becoming the Hobgoblin and cemented his place in the Marvel universe as a formidable foe for Spider-Man and other heroes.
Is Venom a villain in No Way Home?
No Way Home is expected to hit theaters this December, so we can’t yet answer that definitively. However, given how things were left in the film Spider-Man: Far From Home, it is highly likely that Venom will appear in the upcoming movie.
Whether Venom will be a villain or a hero in No Way Home is up for debate. It was clear at the end of Far From Home that Spider-Man and Venom had no ill-will towards each other, and the two have even teamed up against various supervillains in the comics.
If Venom appears in No Way Home, it may be as an anti-hero, more of an ally than an enemy.
Moreover, it is speculated that Spider-Man: No Way Home will heavily feature the Multiverse – with appearances by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning as older alternate versions of Peter Parker – so it is possible that Venom could appear in different capacities depending on the universe he inhabits.
Only time will tell if Venom is a hero or a villain in No Way Home, and just how he fits into the larger narrative of the film.
Is there going to be a Spider-Man 4 with Venom?
At the moment, there is no definite answer as to whether or not there will be a Spider-Man 4 with Venom. Is Venom a good guy now?
That depends on perspective. Venom has more recently been depicted as an anti-hero and has oftentimes been seen helping those in need, so some may view him as a good guy. However, he is still an alien symbiote with a history of aggression, so many people still don’t consider him to be a good guy.
In general, he has become more of a morally gray character than a full-fledged villain, so people’s individual opinions on him vary.
Why does Venom Hate Spider-Man in the new movie?
The Venom movie explores the long and deeply rooted antagonism between Venom and Spider-Man. As with the comics, Venom’s hatred of Spider-Man is rooted in a misunderstanding of Spider-Man’s identity and intentions.
Venom views Spider-Man as a dangerous rival who is out to harm him and thwart his agenda, which Venom cannot accept. This is why Venom is so vehemently drawn to Spider-Man in the new movie.
Though the exact timeline between them is unclear in the movie, Spider-Man has been a more prominent figure in Eddie Brock’s life than Venom in the past. This is because Eddie Brock was somewhat obsessed with Spider-Man, even to the point of writing articles about him.
Eddie was enamored with Spidey’s abilities and identified with his struggles.
At the same time, Venom knows that Spider-Man is vastly more powerful. Unlike himself, Spider-Man is a superhuman being capable of incredible feats. Spider-Man is also unafraid of Venom’s power, which infuriates Venom further.
The significant power gap between them only serves to increase Venom’s hatred.
Then, during their confrontation at the laboratory, Venom learns what he believes to be the true identity of the person behind the Spider-Man mask: Eddie Brock. Venom had believed that Eddie was a mere mortal who was unworthy of his love and admiration.
In learning that Eddie was not just a man, but actually a superhuman being, Venom felt betrayed and angry. He was left to conclude that Spider-Man had lied to him and misled him. This revelation only serves to further fan the flames of Venom’s rage and further intensifies his desire to take his vengeance out on Spider-Man.
Ultimately, Venom’s hatred of Spider-Man stems from a combination of both misunderstanding and miscommunication. Both Venom and Spider-Man are powerful characters and see each other as a mere obstacle to their goals, leading them to clash in a web of mistrust and animosity.
What villain will Ned Leeds become?
Ned Leeds, who is a supporting character in Marvel Comics, is an important character in the Spider-Man storylines. He is a rival to Peter Parker, a young man that also has powers stemming from a radioactive spider.
At one point, Ned Leeds was suspected of being the Hobgoblin, a villain in the Spider-Man universe. Unfortunately, it was revealed that he had been duped by the real mastermind behind the persona of the Hobgoblin, which was Roderick Kingsley – a corrupt fashion mogul.
Eventually, due to a combination of mental and physical torture, Ned Leeds was driven temporarily insane, eventually leading to him becoming an entirely different villain. This new villain, a version of the Hobgoblin, came to be known as the “Goblin Nation.
” In this form, Leeds was very powerful with enhanced strength and powers, along with his evil Goblin mask.
The Goblin Nation was active for a short period of time, causing chaos and destruction in New York City before being eventually defeated. Leeds was later restored to his normal state and found redemption, which included avenging the death of his girlfriend and ensuring the truth about the true identity of the Hobgoblin was revealed.
Though he reverted back to his normal state, Leeds’ psyche was forever changed. He still holds dark and sinister thoughts, while being seen as a victim as well. As of now, Ned Leeds is still in his survivor state, though it’s unclear if he will ever turn into the villain himself once again.
