Can you take pictures at the Masters?

No, unfortunately, patrons of the Masters are not allowed to bring phones with them. This includes cell phones, tablets, selfie sticks, and all other electronic devices. While these items are prohibited inside the grounds of the Masters, there are many designated areas outside the grounds that provide an ideal spot to make or take calls.

Additionally, you are able to check most electronic devices at the entraces of the Masters in special lockers provided by Augusta National. Accredited media members, however, are permitted to have limited use of phones and other electronic devices in designated areas.

What items are prohibited at the Masters?

The Augusta National Golf Club has very strict security protocols in place for those attending the Masters Tournament. The list of prohibited items includes any outside food and beverages, selfie sticks and any recording devices, including GoPro cameras.

Within the course, radios, cellphones, and other communication devices are also not permitted. In addition, umbrellas, seating cushions and large bags, such as backpacks, are not allowed. All ticket holders are subject to search and prohibited items will be confiscated.
