In addition, due to the dramatic decline in their sales and profitability, New Glarus decided that it was in their best interest to temporarily close. While their taproom and brewery are currently closed, they are still shipping beer and operating the Online Beer Optics store.
New Glarus Brewery has stated that they will reopen their taproom and brewery when it is safe for their customers, employees, and the community to do so.
Can you bring food into the brewing Projekt?
Yes, you are certainly welcome to bring food into the brewing Projekt. There is seating for up to 150 people, so it’s a great place to bring a picnic to enjoy with your favorite beer. Some local restaurants also deliver to the Projekt, so you can order your favorite takeout and have it delivered to the taproom.
Additionally, we do have some snacks available for purchase if you don’t feel like bringing in your own food.
