What was the first Instagram post?

The first-ever Instagram post was uploaded on July 16, 2010, by Instagram’s co-founder Kevin Systrom. The photo was a simple shot of a mutt dog, named “Menschen,” against a plain background with the caption “test”.

Menschen is Systrom’s, now deceased, pet dog at the time and was (and still is) recognized as the first image ever shared on Instagram. This iconic photo went on to garner 1,800 likes with comments from some of Instagram’s earliest users.

Other early posts by the co-founder included the gorgeous Capitola Beach, more pictures of Menschen, and a glimpse at the initial Burbn office. Since the launch of Instagram, the platform has grown to become one of the most popular channels within the social media world, with over one billion users.

How was Instagram first user?

The first user of Instagram was an American programmer and entrepreneur named Mike Krieger. He joined Instagram as an engineer in October 2010. The idea for Instagram arose when his teammate, Kevin Systrom, wanted to create a photo-sharing application.

Mike quickly joined the project and helped create the first version of the Instagram app. Mike was the first to create a profile.

At the time, Mike said the Instagram team was “looking to build a product that allowed everyone to share their photos in a really beautiful way and really quickly.”

By April 2018, Instagram had reached 1 billion users, and Mike’s posts were still among the first ever shared on Instagram. His first post was of a nearby Burrito, and his first few posts included many photos of San Francisco.

Mike’s Instagram handle remains @mikeyk.

How long did it take Instagram to reach 1 million users?

It took Instagram just two and a half months to reach one million users after its launch in October 2010. This impressive feat was achieved in early January 2011 and was the result of the innovative social media platform’s popularity.

Instagram’s initial user base quickly grew and by August 2011, the company had 60 million users, and was a key platform for social media users to share photos with their friends and families. As of April 2020, Instagram has over one billion active monthly users, making it one of the most successful social networks in history.

How much Instagram pay for 1 million followers?

It is impossible to accurately state how much Instagram pays for 1 million followers since this rate may vary depending on a variety of factors, such as the targeted audience, the age of followers, the type of content posted, and the engagement level of followers.

In addition, the rate also varies based on the method of monetizing followers, as well as the individual influencer’s negotiation ability.

Generally speaking, the amount that Instagram pays for 1 million followers usually ranges from about $10,000 to $60,000 for individuals or businesses with high-quality followers and high engagement levels.

However, this can range from much lower to much higher, depending on the target audience and the influencer’s agreement with the brand or business.

For example, if the post is for a product or service that targets a younger demographic, the rate will likely be higher than if the product or service targets a more mature demographic. Similarly, the influencer’s own agreement and negotiation power will also strongly impact the rate they receive for the post.

Lastly, some influencers may use other methods of monetizing followers, such as sponsored posts, affiliate links, and product sales, which can further affect how much they are paid for 1 million followers.

What is the oldest known photo?

The oldest known surviving photograph is View from the Window at Le Gras, taken by Nicéphore Niépce in 1826 or 1827 in the commune of Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, France. It was taken from an upstairs window of Niépce’s estate, Le Gras.

Niépce captured the scene in a helped of about eight hours on a pewter plate coated with bitumen. Later, Niépce’s associate Louis Daguerre improved the plate with a process that allowed the photograph to remain preserved without fading.

The image consists of a view out of an upstairs window of the village of Saint-Loup-de-Varennes. The dark patches in the foreground likely represent the series of roofs below. The fields and trees surrounding the village provide a stark contrast to the dark sky and clouds.

The scene is notably still, as the trees and buildings appear static and appear as if they are sketched in pen, rather then captured in a photograph. This photo is stunning when considering the amount of technological advancements Niépce created using extremely limited resources.

Because of his insightful work, Niépce is credited as the pioneer of photography.
