Where can I vape at Disneyland?

Do vapes set off metal detectors?

No, vapes typically do not set off metal detectors. Most metal detectors work by detecting metals that emit a magnetic field, and the electronic components inside of vapes, including the battery, aren’t made of metal or don’t emit a magnetic field.

However, depending on the type of metal detector, it may be possible to set off an alarm due to the presence of metal in other components, such as the mouthpiece. It is also possible to have metal detectable components in the vape device, thus it is possible that it could set off a metal detector.

If a person is concerned about setting off a metal detector, it is recommended that the person contact the security about the device and its potential for setting off the detector.

Will Disney take your vape?

•On outdoor patios, decks, rooftops, or other outdoor areas of a Disney Resort hotel

•Inside any terminal at Orlando International Airport

•At any Disney Springs area, including the Marketplace

•On the Disney BoardWalk

•In any Disney-owned parking lot

Guests should also use the designated smoking areas to dispose of their smoking materials, including cigarette butts and ashtrays, as these items are prohibited in all other areas of the Walt Disney World Resort.
