Winter Wondergrass is an annual winter music and beer festival that is held in different resort towns around the United States. The festival is typically three nights, filled with bluegrass, folk, and Americana music, craft beer, and locally sourced food.
The 2020 Winter Wondergrass events were held in Copper Mountain, Colorado; Squaw Valley, California; and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In 2021, the event will be held across six states including California, Colorado, Michigan, Utah, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
The locations for the 2021 shows are Truckee, California; Snowmass Village, Colorado; Auburn Hills, Michigan; The Canyons Village at Park City, Utah; Stratton Mountain, Vermont; and Cascade Mountain, Wisconsin.
All of these locations offer the perfect winter backdrop for the festival. Tickets, which include admission to all of the music and beer festivities, start at $89 per person, depending on the event and location.

The official start time of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival varies each year, and is typically announced a few months before the event. However, the festival usually begins at 10:00 am on the first day and runs through the evening.
Artists typically start performing at 11:00 am, and the event usually runs for 4 days ending around 10:00–11:00 pm on the last day. Gates typically open at 8:00 am on the first day of the festival for people to enter the grounds and look around.

The Telluride Farmers Market is held every Sunday from 9am to 2pm throughout the summer and fall months. The Farmers Market is located in downtown Telluride, Colorado at Town Park between the post office and the gondola station.
Visitors can expect to find a wide variety of freshly harvested local produce, along with artisan goods and homemade items. In addition, local chefs and bakers will be serving up delicious lunch dishes, and there will be live music to enjoy.

How do you get to Telluride?
To get to Telluride, Colorado from the U. S. , you’ll need to fly or drive. If you plan to fly, the closest airports to Telluride are located in Montrose (MTJ, approximately 93 miles away) and Durango (DRO, approximately 109 miles away).
Several airlines have regular flights to both airports, including United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. Once you get to either airport, car rentals are available, as well as taxi, shuttles, and ski shuttles to get to Telluride.
Alternatively, traveling by car is an option. If you are coming from the south, take US-550 N to Montrose, then take Colorado State Route 62/145 and then CO 145 N directly to Telluride. If you are coming from the east, take I-76 to I-70 then CO 145 S to Telluride.
Once you get to Telluride, there is a free public transportation system that operates throughout the city. This makes getting around Telluride without a car much easier and can get you to locations such as the Telluride Ski Resort, local shops and restaurants, and other attractions.

RockyGrass is an annual bluegrass festival held in Lyons, Colorado. It is held in late July at the Lyons’ Planet Bluegrass Ranch. Located conveniently just off the junction of Highways 36, 7 and 66, the festival is just a short drive away from Denver.
The expansive Wildflower Pavilion, adjacent to the St. Vrain River, serves as the main stage for the festival but music can also be heard in other areas of the Planet Bluegrass grounds, including the nearby meadows, intimate Dance Tent and rustic ballroom of the Wildflower Theatre.
During the festival, the Rockygrass Academy offers a wide variety of bluegrass workshops for musicians at all levels to hone their craft. Additionally, a wide variety of vendors, local artisans, and craft brewers are onsite to provide additional entertainment.
What is the capacity of Planet Bluegrass?
Planet Bluegrass has a maximum capacity of 2,650 people. The venue has both indoor and outdoor stages and spaces, so the capacity varies depending on the event. Generally, the indoor venues can seat up to 500 people and the outdoor venues can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
In addition, Planet Bluegrass has areas that can be used for camping and parking, which can accommodate up to 650 people in total. All of these spaces are designed to provide a welcoming, spacious environment for attendees to enjoy all forms of live music, festivals, and camps.
What is Lyons Colorado known for?
Lyons is a Home Rule Municipality in Boulder County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 2069 at the 2010 United States Census. Lyons is located at the confluence of North and South St. Vrain Creeks along U. S.
Highway 36 between the peaks of Longs Peak and Meeker in the Front Range of Colorado. Rocky Mountain National Park is approximately 20mi to the north, Estes Park is about 26mi to the east, and the city of Boulder is approximately 26mi southwest of Lyons.
In the early 1900s, Lyons was the site of a limestone quarry which provided building material for many local structures as well as the Boulder Dam. The quarry closed in the 1950s.
Lyons is known for its annual folk music festival, RockyGrass. It is also home to the Planet Bluegrass Ranch, which hosts the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, the Song School, and the RockyGrass and Telluride Bluegrass Festivals.
The Lyons Redstone Museum is located in the former Company Store of the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company.
Are dogs allowed at Planet Bluegrass?
Unfortunately, Planet Bluegrass does not allow dogs on the property. We take pride in the great atmosphere and respect that we provide to all our visitors, and want to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe during their visit.
Therefore, we highly discourage visitors from bringing their pet to the property. However, if you do wish to bring a pet, service animals are welcomed as long as they are on a leash and you have the proper credentials.
